It's all about young IT talents

Students get a taste of IT at Werum: During the "Zukunftstag", we welcomed numerous participants from many schools in the Lüneburg region. The young IT talents could try their hand at programming and assembling computers.

Those who couldn't visit us in person learned about us and our jobs online at the "Digitaler Zukunftstag".

We hope that we've been able to spark some people's interest in pursuing a career in the IT environment, and for Werum.

The next day, the Azubi Wheel Dating event took place in Lüneburg.

The new recruiting format provided the opportunity to interview applicants in a novel environment. Our company was among 30 companies from Lüneburg and the surrounding area, meeting several candidates in the large wheel gondola.

"A special, innovative idea and new facets make things move here," says a pleased Christian Sommer, CEO of Werum AG, "we have to break new ground, otherwise we'll just get to the same old place. Now we have to make sure that we integrate the schools even more".
