IHKLW recognizes Werum for outstanding training achievements

Lueneburg, September 2026 – At this year’s IHKLW awards ceremony for top graduates, our former apprentice Till Gehrke was recognized as the top graduate in his year in the vocational training program IT specialist for application development (Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung). At the same time, Werum Software & Systems AG received an award recognizing its outstanding achievements in vocational training.

On September 25, a total of 85 apprentices from the Lüneburg-Wolfsburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHKLW) district were honored at Cinemaxx Wolfsburg for their outstanding examination results. All of them achieved at least 92 out of 100 points, ranking among the top graduates in their respective vocational training programs within the IHKLW district.

Accompanied by his trainer Jonas Lorenzen and Hendrik Bohlen, representing the Executive Board, Till received his personal award at the ceremony. Hendrik Bohlen also accepted the certificate recognizing Werum’s outstanding achievements in vocational training on behalf of the company.

At the same time, the award for Werum is a great acknowledgment of all the colleagues who support our apprentices and dual-study students with their knowledge and experience," says Hendrik Bohlen, Member of the Executive Board of Werum Software & Systems AG.

Successful vocational training is a joint effort between committed young professionals and colleagues who share their knowledge and experience. The award presented to Werum therefore also recognizes the commitment we put into supporting our apprentices throughout their professional development.

At Werum, we offer young people a range of opportunities to start their careers in IT. These include vocational training programs for IT specialists in application development and IT specialists in system integration, as well as dual study programs in Applied Computer Science and Computer Science – Technical Systems. This enables young professionals to gain practical experience from the very beginning while developing their professional skills.
