Werum at the BerufsBeats Festival 2025: Youth Meets Future
Between live music, food trucks, and workshops, young people had plenty of fun while also gaining exciting insights into their possible professional futures.
Werum was one of the sponsors of the BerufsBeats Festival in Lüneburg – a unique event that combines education and career information with a real festival atmosphere. Between live music, food trucks, and workshops, young people had plenty of fun while also gaining exciting insights into their possible professional futures.
For us, it was a fantastic opportunity, as a regional company together with many other local businesses, to showcase the opportunities waiting right here on site. We are especially proud of our apprentices: they represented Werum at the festival, answered many questions, and shared exciting insights in the “MINT Area powered by Werum.” There, visitors could program small Ozobots or assemble hardware – hands-on IT you could touch and try out.
Our goal was clear: we want to inspire young people to get excited about computer science while also showing them the career opportunities available directly at Werum in Lüneburg. The many engaging conversations proved to us that the spark definitely caught on.
This special mix of festival and career orientation was a complete success, and we are delighted to have been part of the event. Of course, we hope to see many of these curious young talents again soon at Werum.
