Automotive Testing Expo 2026: AI and data take center stage

Under the theme "AI-powered Testing Excellence", Werum showcased solutions for intelligent test management, automated test bed processes, and AI-driven test data analysis at Automotive Testing Expo 2026.

The key topics Lab Management, Test Automation, and Anomaly Prediction attracted significant interest from visitors and sparked many engaging discussions throughout the event.

How can rapidly growing volumes of test data be leveraged more efficiently? What role does artificial intelligence play in modern test management? And how can seamless data workflows accelerate development, validation, and verification processes? These were some of the key questions driving conversations at this year's event in Stuttgart.

At our booth, we had the opportunity to discuss these challenges with customers, partners, and industry professionals. One thing became clear: data has become a critical asset for making informed decisions and driving more efficient engineering processes.

AI unlocks the value of test data

A major focus of the exhibition was the use of artificial intelligence to analyze and leverage large volumes of test data.

Our solutions help engineering teams find relevant information faster, uncover hidden relationships, and analyze data more efficiently through intelligent search capabilities, AI-powered analytics, and AI agents. This enables organizations to unlock the full value of their existing test data and further optimize development, validation, and verification processes.

Efficient lab management with HyperTest® Boost

In the area of Lab Management, we presented the latest capabilities of HyperTest Boost. The solution helps organizations efficiently plan, manage, and document test processes. New AI-powered features in the upcoming HyperTest Boost 2027 release simplify the search for relevant information, support the analysis of large test data sets, and make engineering knowledge more accessible across teams.

Anomaly prediction with Insightics®

Another key topic was Anomaly Prediction. Insightics enables organizations to intelligently analyze large volumes of test and measurement data, identify patterns, and detect potential anomalies at an early stage. This allows engineering teams to investigate deviations more efficiently, identify root causes faster, and make better-informed decisions based on their data.

Test automation for seamless engineering workflows

In addition to test management, test bed integration and automation were also key topics at the exhibition.

With HyperTest TBA and WTCS, Werum enables organizations to connect heterogeneous test environments and establish seamless workflows ranging from test execution and data management to data analysis. In the area of Test Automation, WTCS demonstrated how testing on full-scale and component test benches can be automated efficiently, flexibly, and with maximum process reliability.
