You are studying computer sciences, engineering or a related subject and would like to use the skills you've gained in practice with an attractive employer?

Apart from internships, Werum also offers the opportunity to write your thesis or join us as a working student - often the perfect start for a long-term career at Werum.

Bachelor and master theses

You would like to work on a realistic subject for your thesis? We offer exciting subjects right from our daily business or research & development and take care of adequate technical supervising.

Choice of subjects

The subjects we can currently offer for bachelor and master theses focus on the following topics:

  • Machine Learning (or Deep Learning) and automation
  • Industry 4.0 and associated communication protocols (e.g. OPC UA, MQTT)

And of course there still are subjects from the following areas:

  • Handling of mass data (NoSQL, Big Data, Data Lakes)

  • Evaluation of new technology trends

We will agree on an individual subject for your bachelor or master thesis in a personal conversation considering your knowledge and area of studies. Such a task assignment may also be a good starting point for graduates to begin their professional career at Werum.

Internships and practical terms

You would like to gain insight into Werum's software development, see how a solution is designed or what project life is like in reality?
The minimum term for internships usually is three months.

Werum also offers temporary employment for adequately qualified students in parallel to their studies. You can work between 10 and 20 hours and apply what you've learned at university or college in order to acquire valuable practical experience. You can support us in various fields of activity and projects. Your working hours can be organized flexibly in coordination with us as your employer. So we could for example arrange for an extended work unit during non-term periods.

You collaborate in the development and implementation of additional platform functions or – depending on your prior knowledge - undertake specific tasks in the execution of projects.
