Manufacturer-Neutral Integration of Automation Systems
Today, a continuous, uninterrupted horizontal and vertical information
flow is a standard component of modern production concepts. 
For this reason, it is absolutely imperative to integrate MES systems with the existing IT environment,
especially with ERP systems and lower-level automation systems. As a completely
independent supplier of standard interfaces for all leading systems,
we are in a good position to help you with these requirements.
PAS-X provides standard interfaces to the SCADA/Historian/DCS systems of all leading
suppliers and thus offers the greatest of flexibility for seamless integration into a production-related
system environment.
New OPC-ADI Specification: OPC Foundation Hosted by Werum
We are pleased to welcome the OPC Foundation as sub-exhibitor at our stand, where they will be giving an exclusive introduction to the draft of
their new PAT/QbD-oriented OPC-ADI specification.  This new Analyzer Device Integration specification provides the pharmaceutical industry with a
common data exchange method for analyzer data models for process and laboratory analyzers. OPC-ADI serves as an information model for analyzer
devices and enables true plug-and-play multivendor interoperability.
The release of the OPC-ADI specification continues to follow the OPC Foundation's founding principles of providing end-users
with the ability to implement "Quality by Design" in their manufacturing systems.
This new specification provides the Pharmaceutical industry with a common method for data exchange for analyzer data models for process and laboratory analyzers.
OPC-ADI serves as an information model for analyzer devices and enables true plug-and-play multivendor interoperability.
 Analyzer integration based on standards offers a unique opportunity in Data Management and Integration for solutions such as Process Analytical Technology (PAT).
Werum is a member of the OPC Foundation and uses OPC standards, for example, in setting up flexible, manufacturer-independent integration of SCADA systems.
SAP EBS Partnership
We have further extended our cooperation with our partner SAP, the leading ERP system provider for the pharmaceutical industry, and we have signed an EBS (Endorsed Business Solution) partnership agreement with them for the life science sector. Through this cooperation Werum enhances SAP's solution portfolio in the field of batch production.
New Track-and-Trace Solution in Cooperation with SAP and Uhlmann
In addition, we would like to introduce a new comprehensive track-and-trace solution for the pharmaceutical industry, which we have developed in cooperation with SAP and Uhlmann Pac Systems. This collaborative IT solution ensures uninterrupted tracking and tracing of pharmaceutical products along the entire value chain.
