Airbus Bremen: Technology Program ProHMS



For its technology program ProHMS with focus on multifunctional highlift systems, Airbus Germany applies a Test Data Management System of Werum as core component for the test bed software.

ProHMS for improved propulsion systems

It is the objective of the ProHMS program to design and test improved technologies for slat and flap systems. The medium-term goal is to simplify the highly complex highlift systems while increasing performance. Successful research work is based on simulation and test procedures and their validation for practical use by means of reliable experimental data and innovative methods.

Test Data Management based on DAVIS

The DAVIS-based central Test Data Management System (TDM) is the core element of the test system. The TDM records all test-relevant data, stores them in the integrated archives and makes them available for analysis. Within the scope of this project Werum has also reorganized data distribution and delivered modules for monitoring and control. Moreover, Werum supplied the configuration database used to manage hardware and software configurations. A high degree of flexibility, easy configuration and highest-data throughput rates are the prominent features of the system.
