Test Data Management System for Cabin System of A 380
Werum has supplied a Test Data Management System (TDM) to be used within the scope of developing, integrating and testing the cabin systems of the airbus A 380. The TDM is a functional core component of the highly dynamic and adaptable test and verification system currently set up by Airbus Deutschland GmbH in Hamburg within the frame of the project CASIV (CAbin System Integration and Verification).
Versatile Test Requirements
It is possible to adapt the system to the most versatile test requirements at any time. That means, out of several thousand available signal channels the ones currently required are selected, the appropriate test description is generated and transferred to the real-time test systems.
Data Management and Archiving System based on DAVIS
Werum designed and implemented the entire data management and archiving system on the basis of its test data management system "DAVIS". Along with the actual measurement data of several megabytes per second, the TDM acquires all relevant information on test procedures and system configuration. The TDM administers and archives the information and places it available to the users for online and offline display and for analysis purposes.
Heterogeneous Operating System Environment
A great challenge the TDM system and its interoperability have to face is the heterogeneous world of operating systems, in which real-time applications have to operate with standard analysis systems based on Windows.
